Is it possible for a) a Warlock to lose the support of a Patron, similar to a paladin oathbreaker, or b) for a warlock to switch patrons?

@JeremyECrawford @SageAdviceDnD I’ve seen you and @mikemearls say it’s unnecessary for Warlocks to be on good terms with their patrons, and their powers can’t be stripped, but some class features mention “entreating” or asking the patron for help. Are those losable?

@MorukaiHi Jeremy, does Planar Binding summon the creature to be bound, or is that done separately? Planar binding doesn't summon the creature.

@ScottManwellInvis Q?… if invisib (hidden or not), whats the rules for melee targeting & spells (magic miss/dispel magk) thanks J.C.!! A spell says if its target must be visible. Magic missile's target must be visible, whereas dispel magic's needn't be.

@PlaguescarredDoes a polearm master opportunity attack interrupt movement? The Polearm Master attack is in response to a creature entering your reach, so movement can be before and after it.

Ok so it works differently than a normal opportunity attack then, which interurpt before leaving your reach (otherwise target would be out) And thus not interurpting creature ‘entering your reach”, more reacting after they did. Polearm Master fluff say you can keep your enemies at bay with reach weapons is not really true if attack is when adjacent

@Plaguescarred On the grid, the target is adjacent if you’re using a quarterstaff, but 5 feet away with the other PM weapons.

Why distance discrepency opportunity attack provoke base on weapon? You said earlier reach weapon dont increase if not attacking?
Trying to get where yur coming from leave Reg opportunity attack with halberd when leaving your reach, creature is adjacent or 10 ft away?
