@ChrisPerkinsDnD I'm writing a 5E adventure in the plane of air. Need details not in the DMG; day/night, gravity, etc). Where can I look?

Dissonant Whispers spell
@JeremyECrawford Dissonant Whispers spell. Do you have to be able to see the creature to target it with spell? Or just within range?
— Kato Katonian (@KatoKatonian) November 10, 2015
A spell tells you if you must see its target. Dissonant whispers doesn't say that you must. #DnD https://t.co/fLChbKWdOw

Wild Shape transfer HP loss to original form
@MonumentGameshow would you handle max HP loss and shape changed creatures. Would the Max HP loss transfer over when back in original form? believe it should transfer over
— Mike Mearls (@mikemearls) October 14, 2015
@MonumentGamesAlso, if a creature with 40 hp loses 8 hp and MAX hp is reduced by 8, do they have 32 hp with max 32 or 24 hp with max 32? reducing max and damage both apply – so 32 max, 24 damage
— Mike Mearls (@mikemearls) October 14, 2015
@MonumentGames wait – strike that, it depends on the timing. Reducing max reduces current HP only if they would be above max
— Mike Mearls (@mikemearls) October 14, 2015
@MonumentGames you'd end up at 24 if max was reduced first, then damage applied

Are saving throws considered ability checks?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD are saving throws considered ability checks?
— Dooley (@mcdoolz) October 5, 2015
They're two different things. https://t.co/O8nRWK0noV
— Christopher Perkins (@ChrisPerkinsDnD) October 5, 2015
@ChrisPerkinsDnD Was it on purpose that there are ability "CHECKS", attack "ROLLS", and saving "THROWS"? That's how i differentiate them all
— Ogrefacts (@ogrefacts) October 5, 2015
Absolutely on purpose. https://t.co/9Wxckukmgp

SCAG Half-Elf’s Keen Senses
@JeremyECrawford Halfelf variant in swordcoast should it be Keen senses AND a trait and not OR? Why trade any 2 skills for just perception?
— Juan Aviles (@aviles316) November 11, 2015
The half-elf's Keen Senses option in the SCAG is, alas, superfluous. Take one of the juicy options below it. #DnD https://t.co/EsJtqzuOWw
