I noticed that this week you described the gnolls as the same in 5e lore, but it seems that’s not how they are described in the campaign guide. Are Tal’Dorei and Wildemount gnolls different? Are they less violent? What about the ones in Turst Fields?They are different region to region, location to location. Some pockets of human society worship terrible demons as well, but that isn’t a defining characteristic of the society as a whole.

Question I recently found critical role and already put in 200+ hours watching it so good. I did notice your house rule of allowing spellcaster to cast level 2 or lower spells as a bonus action how would you handle a sorcerers quicken spell metamagic for this rule? It would still function, though one of the two spells would need to be level 2 or lower! The quicken spell would allow them to both be Spells with an Action casting time, though! (Mirror Image + Haste in the same turn, as an example)

Is this open for players at level one? Or do you start that at a higher level (not that level 1’s can cast above level 1 spellslots) I include it on the Tal’Dorei Campaign Guide as a feat available at level 8, but it’s up to the DM

Question about the Spelldriver feat from the T’DCS. Is the intent to essentially change the cast time of all 2nd level or lower spells to a bonus action? Or does it only allow you to cast 2nd level and lower only if the original cast time is a bonus action?It does not change casting times, it merely allows two non-cantrip spells to be cast (one action, one bonus action) so long as one is 2nd level or lower.

wondering about the Cobalt Soul. Do you need to be a monk in order to advance through the hierarchy? Could a wizard, for example, be an expositor? Love to know your thoughts on the non-monk members of the organization. Not at all! Many of the members fall into numerous trades and skillsets (and classes, like Knowledge Domain Cleric). Monks just happen to be one of the predominant member focuses towards espionage that roots out corruption.
