@JeremyECrawford @mikemearls can you attempt to ride the Pegasus from your find greater steed even if you don’t have a saddle?
DM is arguing that you need specifically the exotic saddle so until you get one you can’t ride the Pegasus.
Does that make sense to you?

#DnD How would you rule it?

PC puts NPC into death saves with Sword of Wounding. At the start of NPC turn, 2 things happen:

– NPC rolls death saves.
– NPC takes wound damage.

Normally fine. Roll death save, take death save from wound.

NPC rolls 20, heals 1 HP.

I'd go with the Xanathar's guildeline that the person whose turn it is decides the order to resolve similarly timed effects. In this case, you decide since it's an NPC's turn.

Does dropping an item count as your one use of “interacting with an object,” or can you drop an item as a “free/no action.”

@RSIxidor In most circumstances, I would allow a character to let go of something without using an action.

@Sleylock Does a character know it’s under the effect of a hex spell? Typically, a target doesn’t know it’s under the effect of a spell like hex until it experiences the spell’s effects.
