I’m thinking about starting a Planeswalking D&D campaign based off of your Plane Shift articles about Zendikar, Innistrad etc. Do you have any advice on running such a game? 1) Give PCs a strong reason to go to specific planes. 2) Planeswalker enemies are good. 3) Brace yourself to be surprised. 4) Tell your players not to be jerks and go off to random planes. 5) Have fun! #dnd #mtg #wotcstaff

Firstly! You rock and thank you for spreading this amazing game to so many people! Secondly, I am going to be playing a monk a “from rags to riches” concept based on Sun Wu Kong, and am needing an official base guideline on nunchaku! Please & thank you!I’d treat it as a flail

Any chance you have some advice on how to manage a battle scenario without maps?
Ah! Any chance you have some advice on how to manage a battle scenario without maps? I do this too, but it would be nice with some #ProTips You can keep track of relative distance/location with coins as a quick reference (either behind the screen or in front of it). If you’re down to customize a bit, you can also break down distance into categories: Adjacent, Close, Far, etc. A full move jumps the distance between.

The Psion/Psychic/Mind Mage pt2 – The Mike Mearls Happy Fun Hour!
Watch The Mike Mearls Happy Fun Hour, 5/1/18 from dnd on www.twitch.tv
That was a great stream! Working through psionics with chat was very useful in surfacing some new ideas and getting a good sense of how DMs as a group approach psionics. Thanks to everyone who took part!

Curious. I thought there was an episode of the #happyfunhour where you discuss designing a custom race but I don’t see it in the playlist. Did I just dream that happened or am I missing something.it’s a dream… or perhaps a vision from the future

Can Planeshift vampires make the draining attack as part of a normal attack option?
In the Zendikar and Ixalan Plane Shift publications, there are playable vampire races with a draining ability. Can those vampires make the described attack as part of a normal attack option, or is the whole Bloodthirst ability an action itself? It’s an action itself.
