weird question, but can a bloodhunter possibly imbue another players weapon? I wanted to try and imbue my friends barbarians sword, just for creative reasons. Wanted word from he creator himself. RAW it’s not possible, as the Rite fades shortly after it leaves your grip. However, your DM can alter it however they see fit!

I was wondering about the Blood Hunter Blood Curse of Purgation blood…
i’m going to try out your blood hunter lycan class tomorrow (so excited) but i was wondering about the blood curse of Purgation – “expunge a corruption in their blood. The target creature can immediately make a saving throw” – what kind and what’s the DC? thx! It’s the DC of whatever caused the affliction (a poison, or spell).

Are there any ability requirements to multiclass into a Blood Hunter?
are there any ability requirements to multiclass into a Blood Hunter? And what proficiencies do you gain when multiclassing into it? It doesn’t specify on DDB as far as I can tell. All multiclassing notes for the Blood Hunter sit at the end of the document. 🙂

Blood Hunter I have come into my possession condemer it says that it cannot be additionally enhanced…
Hi Matt big fan of the blood hunter class quick question. I have come into my possession condemer it says that it cannot be additionally enhanced does that count for crimson rites as well? The Rite enhances via outside influence, not actually altering the enchantment, so it would apply. 🙂

Is an Order of the Lycan Blood Hunter originally proficient with Unarmed Strikes and the Beastly Precision…
All characters are proficient with their own unarmed strikes. Thus, you get the +2 Attack bonus on top of that.

I'm playing a blood hunter in tonight's #dnd game and I thought everyone should see @matthewmercer's hilarious joke, where this spooky-scary class doesn't get anything at 13th level (except another blood curse, coolcoolcool). pic.twitter.com/Urqq9WVbQT

It also gets a bump to the Prof bonus, so an additional +1 to attacks, DCs, Prof Saving Throws, Prof Skills… that’s not a bad thing, eh? 😉

Blood Curse of Spell Sunder. Does it give advantage on saves against non direct spells?
Regarding Blood Hunter; Blood Curse of Spell Sunder. Does it give advantage on saves against non direct spells? For example, Fireball hits, can use curse to rip the flames away from you? Unfortunately, it only effects spells that require a spell attack roll. However, the Blood Curse of the Fending Rite DOES allow you to do this.
