#dnd tip for writers: any professional writing is an iterative process. Meld the different aspects of game writing (story, mechanics, etc.) into your iterations to push yourself to higher quality and more imaginative texts.

What I really want though, is a PC playable werewolf. And shifters don’t go far enough for my taste.
Nice article!

Not sure how you balance that though. Maybe a class or subclass?
Could be a sorcerer origin, a warlock pact, or even an unusual paladin oath.

You could also explore it as a reskin of a Moon circle druid.

Could you be a little more specific on what you are going to say about Crye in your next article?
I hope you are doing well and PAX Unplugged went well for you. I liked the latest article on Karrnathi undead. Could you be a little more specific on what you are going to say about Crye in your next article?
What is the latest on Morgrave’s Miscellany? The Cyre article is a broad overview, delving further into Cyran culture pre-war and during the war, along with things to think about in developing Cyran characters. The Miscellany is in editing and layout, and I hope it will be out this month.— Keith Baker (@HellcowKeith) December 6, 2018
I assume you are releasing it on the DMs Guild. Is that correct or will it be by some other outlet? That's correct — DM's Guild!

Trying to work out a minor piece of Forgotten Realms economics
Trying to work out a minor piece of Realms economics.
In Evening Star, at local smithy, holding a sword minor damaged by a drop or two of green slime promptly wiped off. What kind of prices, you reckon, for fixing?
How compares across regions, plz? Price will vary widely depending on these factors: what/how pure/how scarce the material the blade was made of in the first place; how busy is the smith/impatient is the sword owner for the job to be done (you usually have to pay to "bump" existing orders); peacetime or not…— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) December 10, 2018
… (smith would be under orders to do military work first, if wartime or "arming up"); skill of smith (what prices can she/he command normally). Also a factor: how much work needs doing (reforging the blade, or retempering, or basically just buffing…or does it have magical…

game in town" because rural folk have less coin to spend on such things. Higher in or near cities unless fierce competition…and in most places in the Realms, the constant demand exceeds smiths' time, so prices stay high and stable. Or are guild-set.

Gunslinger: our DM seems upset with the fact that you can reload and shoot from rifle at the same turn
@matthewmercer Hi Matt! I am a new d&d player writing to you from cold Russia! And I thought that perhaps you might help me out (I am not sure if I should use Reddit to ask such kind of questions). In any way thank you, keep up the good work, I love your show! <33 pic.twitter.com/lo314C6fOw

Consider that the firearms made in a “D&D” setting are different than historical firearms (like Magic in D&D is different than “historical” magic…in existing), & can reload faster. 😉 It’s mechanically this way to allow viable play. A mage would suck if they couldn’t use magic!
