Does Hurl Through Hell include spell attacks?
@JeremyECrawford the Hurl Through Hell ability for the warlock says when “hit a creature with an attack”. Does this include spell attacks?
— Mike Ruiz (@DMmikeruiz) December 14, 2018
An attack in D&D is either a weapon attack or a spell attack. If a rule says it works with attacks and doesn't specify weapon attack or spell attack, it works with either. #DnD https://t.co/RKkdUGqtF8

and an unarmed strike is a weapon attack, even though “unarmed” isn’t a weapon, right?Correct.

Matt Mercer Class/Post-Death Option: The Lingering Soul v1.1
MORTALs!
Lord Matthew Mercer has designed a strange class/post-death option for 5e. It can allow the continued play of a beloved character when resurrection is unavailable.

Here’s something fun! Tried to finish it for Halloween, but wedding stuff kinda mucked that. Designed a strange new class/post-death option for 5E for DMs to possibly offer, given the right circumstances. Fresh out of the oven, it’s… The Lingering Soul. https://t.co/QDIebSlKVm

Is that related to Bobby's jail time?

“That’s his shapeshift DISGUISE, dolt!”
1)
“And how could one wrinkled old man who never gets off his throne except to grace the chamberpot an easy stride away defeat—destroy—a mighty band of adventurers, a-bristle with ready spells and weapons, in their prime?”#epic fantasy— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) September 19, 2018
3)
“Wrinkled old…heh-heh. Did you never wonder why the King needs adventurers to fight for him in the first place?”
“Well; wrinkled, old, and so on.”
“That’s his shapeshift DISGUISE, dolt! Nay, the King uses proxies to fight…#epic fantasy…fer him a-cuz when he gets riled, he boils back into his true body: a Loathly Wyrm. That’s the biggest sort o’ dragon, fer you know-nothing green adventurers. He swallowed all of his Royal Champions whole, then shat out…#epic fantasy— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) September 19, 2018

“You?”
“Aye, me. I’m tougher’n’I look, you know. We transformed World-Serpents usually are.”

Very nice. And spot-on for early 1300s DR Castle Ward "we DO have two moons to rub together, thank you" architecture. :} Thumbs up!

Are smaller draconic creatures, such as dragonborn or kobolds affected by the Waterdeep Dragonward?
How about other, smaller draconic creatures, such as dragonborn or kobolds? Are they affected by the Dragonward? No, the dragonward is "set" to ward away large draconic life-force nodes. So it would work against a sorely-wounded, dying dragon of any size and age…but would "let in" a dracolich. (!)
Khelben cast supplementary spells, anchored to Blackstaff Tower, to ward off dracoliches…— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) December 9, 2018
…and other large and powerful undead, but it remains to be seen if those spells survived his demise, or if they have started to fail since.#Realmslore

How far a warforged could stretch their ability to repair themselves if lacking components and materials?
Makes me wonder how far a warforged could stretch their ability to repair themselves if lacking components and materials. Over countless individuals and biomes, how many would eventually come out with, say, wooden or glass bodies?
Opens up a well of ideas. https://t.co/u8xqORy5Tk— mikrobX (@mikrobx) December 14, 2018
I think it’s reasonable to assume that there are certain components/organs that are required for normal operation of a warforged, so you couldn’t have a COMPLETE garbage makeover. But I can certainly see one repaired with a lot of makeshift parts.
