Princes of the Apocalypse

Fair to say that Elemental Evil is Tharizdun?
I am trying to develop princes of the Apocalypse backstory. Fair to say that Elemental Evil is Tharizdun? So far as some mortals in the Realms can know, yes…

Any ideas for where Beliard’s gone?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD PotA and SKT both mention Beliard's Watchful Knight innkeeper is missing. Any ideas for where he's gone? Covered elsewhere?

It's a mystery for the DM to play with. Maybe it was lured away by a wizard or left to finish a quest on someone else's behalf. #WOTCstaff https://t.co/e6k7sVj0Vk

Princes of The Apocalypse, but I have more than four players. How do I adjust encounters?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD I'm going to be running Princes of The Apocalypse soon. But I have more than four players. How do I adjust encounters?
— Scott Pell (@svederik) February 15, 2017
Might be OK as is if the players are inexperienced. Otherwise, you can up the monsters' damage output or give them extra attacks. #WOTCstaff https://t.co/t9ClezikCa

How would you beef up the Princes in PotA for an 8 member party?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD How would you beef up the Princes in PotA for an 8 member party? I've subbed in stronger cultists but am stumped for Aerisi

Increasing a creature's damage output makes it more challenging without making combat last longer. #wotcstaff https://t.co/TGeHMSsTq3

How do I keep Princes of the Apocalypse from being purely a dungeon crawl?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD Hey Chris, I'm about halfway through running Princes of the Apocalypse; how do I keep it from being purely a dungeon crawl?
— Jacob Cordero (@jakemco) February 4, 2017
Well, it was designed as a dungeon crawl, but if your players are bored, introduce prisoners that they can escort back to town. #WOTCstaff https://t.co/OINOKJGXjY

Sharktoothed longsword from the Crushing Wave Reaver in Princes of the Apocalypse, usable by PCs?
@DorianXanderSharktoothed longsword from the Crushing Wave Reaver in PotA, usable by PCs? If so, does it need any changes? what are its stats? no book with me #WOTCstaff

@DorianXander 1d8 slashing damage, or 1d10 if used 2-handed. Against unarmored target, deals an extra die of damage it's powerful, but I'd let my players use it as-is #wotcstaff
— (((Mike Mearls))) (@mikemearls) December 31, 2016
@DorianXander I'd say yes to all of those – really only apply to unarmored humanoids or stuff with AC only 10 + Dex #wotcstaff

Princes of tht Apocalypse player turned to stone…
@mikemearls PotA player turned to stone. I sent them to dwarf temple for cleric. Where should I send them next to fail to find healing?

A keep atop a remote mountain, where dwells a warlock who fell one step short of godhood and has been mired in depression since #wotcstaff https://t.co/YZyY0iLwwS
