I don’t remember if it was ever mentioned in older editions, but would Mordenkainen’s disjunction do anything particularly harmful to a warforged? Or would it not exist in eberron since Mordenkainen isn’t a figure in eberron’s history?

Warforged are made using magic, but they aren’t magic items; they’re living creatures. They aren’t adversely affected by antimagic fields, dispel magic, or similar effects.

does a shifter lose their temp HP when shifting ends? The UA version said “while shifting” but the final version says “when you shift”. Use the wording in Eberron.

Per the PHB, temporary hit points fade when you finish a long rest unless otherwise states.

… there’s a simple mechanical principle. The MARK doesn’t let you find dragonshards. The PROSPECTOR’S ROD does. That’s a focus item and a relatively recent development that has changed the direction of the house. Tharashk began as HUNTERS, and largely focused on inquisitive work and bounty hunting. The development of the Prospector’s Rod opening up a new direction for the house — one that has dramatically increased its wealth and influence.

Ah, so the key is about ten years ago (Around the same time as the airship?) there was a breakthrough with the Prospector’s Rod, and that’s transformed the house’s relationship with Q’barra and its home, the Shadow Marches Not exactly. I’ll write a quick post about it.

So would you see a Zil marriage negotiation that ends up with siblings having different family and house names from each other? It's certainly possible. In a Sil/Lyrriman marriage, the contract could stipulate that both spouses take the Lyrriman name, but that the firstborn child will be legally Sil. It can be as complicated as the spouses and their families want it to be.

Since nonmagical items are less complicated to craft than their magical counterparts, would an Artificer be able to craft nonmagical items in less time and at lower cost than normal? Thanks in advance! No. Bear in mind that when an artificer creates a magic item they often aren’t creating the base item itself. When an artificer creates a Cloak of Many Fashions, they usually start by buying a mundane cloak, not by weaving one. They excel at the ENCHANTMENT.

Great idea! As a 6th level spell, Move Earth is beyond the scope of what's normally available to the people of the Five Nations. But it's a tool that was used by the giants of Xen'drik and the elves of Aerenal; we've discussed this as a factor in Tairnadal fortifications.

Do the Druids need to be press ganged? Can’t they build massive fortifications as an expression of fanatical faith?

Hard to press gang people who can transform into snakes and slither away. The Tairnadal druids who built Taer Valaestas and the fortifications in Valenar were volunteers, not forced labor. IIRC Move Earth is also available to wizards, and I could see an item that performs a similar function being created using principles of arcane science.

In the Five Nations, druids aren't common enough to make press gangs feasible. On the other hand, Mold Earth available to wizards, which means it's entirely plausible to have magewrights who can cast it; earth-movers could definitely be part of modern construction.

Hi Keith, I was wondering what you would think the offspring of a Kalashtar and an Orc or Elf would be. We know humans can crossbreed with them to make hybrid races, but would a Quori inhabit a hybrid child with Kalashtar blood? By canon lore, kalashtar can only reproduce with humans or Khoravar (half-elves). They might be able to produce hybrid children with elves or orcs, but those children wouldn't inherit the quori bond.
