if I were trying to create a game based around a thieves guild, do you know of any resources that might help? The group patron option from Eberron: Rising From the Last War would be a fun read.
There was a 2e supplement called Den of Thieves available as pdf and softcover on DriveThruRPG, mechanics won't help but could be plenty of story/flavor/locations/NPCs to mine.

I’m trying to do a little research and drawing a blank on this topic. Is the Ninth College of House Sivis related in some way to the eight colleges of the Library of Korranberg? It’s a Sivis in-joke. The Library is a Zil institution and has eight colleges; thus Sivis’s elite order is the Ninth College.

Do you have a ballpark for how much would Ghallanda charge to join the Hosteler’s guild? Digging through all my old 3.5 eberron books and I don’t see this mentioned anywhere. Apologies for the delayed response! I don’t think there’s an immediate fee; it’s a combination of pledging to meet Ghallanda standards (which will be checked) and an ongoing percentage of profits, probably in the range of 5-10%.

Alchemist’s 5th lvl Alchemical Savant specifically requires casting through Alchemist’s Supplies as your focus. Does this make Enhanced Arcane Focus infusion useless for the Alchemist? Or should that infusion work for tools also? The infusion requires a rod, staff, or wand.
Alchemists can benefit from it, but has no special ability to use it on alchemist’s supplies.

1.Enhanced defense/weapon stacks with previous Magic item?
2. How does the Mark Magic for multiclass? Both? (I ask because spellcaster level)
1. Infusions can only be used on nonmagical items.2. Spells of the Mark are additions to any spellcasting class spell list you have. The levels listed are spell level.

Hi Keith: Asking for some internet people I saw discussing it, do you think you could include a pass on a Gnoll stat block in ExplEbberon? 5e doesn’t have any, and Gnoll adventurer uniquely makes sense for Eberron as opposed to Faerun. Would make some folks happy. Exploring Eberron will delve into Droaam, including gnolls!

Repulsive Shield! Hi Jeremy, the infusion is intentionally deprived of any Saving Throw and size limitation? I mean, if a Tarrasque hits my artificer armed with a repulsive shield it just goes “sprooinnng”-ed away 15 feet? (What a sight to behold!) It’s intentional. Isn’t magic neat? 😃
