Am I allowed to have my Echo do another things besides attack? Like carry stuff or push buttons or take items to other allies? If your DM allows!

Exandria is the name of the world on which most events of Critical Role take place. Tal’dorei and Wildemount

I’m curious. The echo knight is pulling copies from the future. Does that mean the knight gets free divination? Or is each time line going to be changed after each copy interaction? Does the echo knight cease to exist in the future if it dies in the past? It’s less “pulling them from the future”, and more “pulling them from alternate present timelines that were never realized”. No divination involved. 😉

Some creatures/characters have features that can (often as a reaction) adjust a final roll (Shield spell, enemies with Parry, etc). In those rare moments, I imagine, these abilities could still affect the roll after Convergent Future takes place.

Important question. Is the Xhorhouse hidden somewhere on this map of Rosohna? That map is technically at a time before the Xhorhaus had come into being (as the book takes place at ep 50). 😉

To clarify, with a Potion of Maximum Power you can guarantee a <5th level casting of Chaos Bolt always jumps to a new target if one is available? Since with the potion you eschew rolling the dice and instead choose the number, and Chao Bolt only triggers on a roll, I would think it wouldn’t continue to jump. :)

so im loving the look of the new Echo Knight, but it doesnt seem to have a limit to the amount of uses it can be used. Is this correct and its only the other effects that are limited in the amount of times they can be used? That is correct. It can create an echo any time.

I love the echo Knight so much. Am I reading it correctly that if you use Echo Avatar to scout ahead with it, it can’t make any ability checks like stealth since it isn’t a creature and it doesn’t have its own stats/skills? In this instance (since it is an echo of the creator), I might allow ability checks based on the echo knight’s. I defer to Jeremy Crawford for official rulings. 😉

How would the interaction of this spell work with something like Power Word: Kill? Conditions are not shared, just damage and regained hit points. Otherwise, it becomes a little wobbly and unwieldy, hehe.

Quick question. What about buffs/debuffs. Like if one of them becomes poisoned for example would the other become poisoned too? It might be funny if one of them was a warlock and used mask of many faces and changed the form of the other also
