They usually appear on the forehead initially, but variations can occur. Up to you and the DM!

Critical Role
Exandria is the name of the world on which most events of Critical Role take place. Tal’dorei and Wildemount
Would Cliffkeep Mountains make sense for converting Storm King’s Thunder?

How would Gith fit in Tal’dorei?
I have a question so WOTC released new races and one of them were Gith, how would they fit in Tal’dorei?Easily, as the Astral Sea exists between the planes.

How common are firearms in Tal’dorei?
, how common are firearms in Tal’dorei? Seen everywhere? Or only for the rich and those able to make there own?Generally EXTREMELY rare in the VM timeline…like, maybe 50-100 in the world post-time skip. The tech is just now spreading (thx Ripley…)

Will the archtypes in the Tal’Dorei guide and The Book of Righteous be official class options?
will the archtypes in the Tal’Dorei guide and The Book of Righteous be official class options? No. Those aren't official D&D products.

When determining instant death damage does the Crimson Rite effect make instant death riskier?
I’ve got a Blood Hunter player now and was wondering: When determining instant death damage does the Crimson Rite effect make instant death riskier or would max HP be recovered before that math as they drop the effect upon losing consciousness? That’s a sticky situation that can vary from DM to DM. I’d always rule in the favor of the player, as the risk already inherent in using the feature is fair enough.

I’ve learned a lot about D&D from the Critical Role gang
I’ve learned a lot about DnD from the CR gang this past year. One of my favorite take-aways is that there is no “right choice”. When passed the ball, I very much like to make the fun ones. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed that sequence born of my “mistake”. 😜💍 #CriticalRoleSpoilers

The amount of beautiful chaos that came from that choice was worth any momentary heart palpitations. The Traveler was definitely with us. but laura weren’t you seriously mad at me and super angry and that’s why you went to the bathroom, cuz you hated what i did and don’t like me anymore in real life? 🥺

You do the best you can, and sometimes the dice are on your side. Other times… well, you get to make some different choices.
That was a blast!

Is the Runechild not able to use anything besides it’s spells at 1st level?
Okay am I misreading the first level features, or is the Runechild not able to use anything besides it’s spells at 1st level??
Specifically, the line about having no sorcery points and using an action to charge your rune is removed. So Glyph of Aegis is unusable.@jamesjhaeck @matthewmercer pic.twitter.com/KdXAXZUIOA— Brett (@LocalArchLich) January 19, 2022
That was an error and a fix is already in progress! It’ll be updated in the next version of the PDF and on the product page errata soon. You can use an action to convert an essence rune to a charged rune if you have no sorcery points. Awesome! I figured that was the case, thanks a million for the reply, love the book!
— Brett (@LocalArchLich) January 19, 2022
Even without Sorcery Points (including not having the feature at Lvl 1), you can use an Action to convert a single inert rune into a charged rune (if you have none charged atm). So you can likely have a minimum of one rune charged at most times.
