@cstiehlSolution for Disadvantage + Lucky Feat: PC picks 2 of the 3 d20 results. Lowest of those two is used. That would work. Or roll two, take the lowest, and then roll the third die and pick one. — Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) May 19, 2015
@ChrisPerkinsDnD We want to do a one-night D&D game at our family vacation. Any recommendations for playing with a group of 10-12? — Taylor Jeffrey (@t_shapedmusings) April 29, 2015 Warm milk toddies. Half the group will fall asleep so the rest can play. MINES OF MADNESS also works w/ big groups. https://t.co/2mr6vKiPq5 — Christopher Perkins […]
@Alphastream So, if I have disadvantage and I’m lucky, I get choice of all three dice? Doesn’t that turn disad into advantage? That's how the feat works. It's long been on our radar as a potential problem. But SA is for clarification, not redesign. — Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) May 19, 2015 @maialidethGood point on the […]
@SupahewokDoes a noncaster character with Magic Initiate qualify as spellcaster for purpose of item attunement, ie Wand of Fireballs? Yep! Magic Initiate turns you into a spellcaster if you weren't one already. — Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) May 19, 2015 @ReubenFontanaBy the same token, does a race with some spellcasting ability (tiefling, or even high elf) […]
@JeremyECrawford Pls expln Lucky Feat from Sage Advice. So attacking with disad, luck point, now best of three? How is that still disad? — Dan Hass (@danhass) May 18, 2015 You pick the d20 but have disadvantage, so things like Sneak Attack that are blocked by disadvantage are blocked. https://t.co/tyR93I700H — Jeremy Crawford (@JeremyECrawford) May […]
@ChrisPerkinsDnD I'm sure you've answered this many times, but Google has failed me. Do you use programs like Realm Works? If so, which? — jadesonata (@JesseGodby) April 10, 2015 I don't, and I'm surprised Google doesn't know that. I thought we were close. https://t.co/zTrHvXMgAV — Christopher Perkins (@ChrisPerkinsDnD) April 10, 2015
@JeremyECrawfordI would like to hear more behind the design benefits for “free hand” – problematic to favor xbow+blade or shield wielder? Thinking on this… is the free-hand design mainly to encourage a true free hand as an option, vs shield/wpn? — Alphastream (@Alphastream) May 18, 2015 @AlphastreamI’m not seeing the benefit of tracking that free […]
