Can a creature that’s immune to fear (Paladin) be paralyzed by a Mummy Lord’s Dreadful Glare?yes. from reading it, those are two separate effects (paralyze is not necessarily fear-based)

So the broad version of this is “You still need to roll, even if you’re immune to the effect if the effect has “Fail by X or more” riders.correct – effect will specify if an immunity applies to an element of it, unless it has a blanket notation as such
