I thought I remember seeing somewhere that’s it’s possible to kill someone by over healing them. (twice their max HP). Is this true for 5e? No.

Rules for flying creatures carry weights
@Mazoshi1987 What are the rules for a medium creature that can fly trying to carry another medium creature, in terms of weight? Thanks. calculate carried gear, add reasonable guess for body weight (suggest 15 lbs * Str score)

I want to make a Potion of healing
@JeremyECrawford If I want to make a Potion of healing, where I must look on the manuals? I can't find it. Thanks

Want to make a potion? See the "Crafting a Magic Item" section in the DMG (p. 128). #DnD https://t.co/sDzTMo0iKg

Would an Undying Light Warlock/Paladin add CHA bonus to damage from Divine Smite?
@ChewBobccaWould an Undying Light Warlock/Paladin add CHA bonus to damage from Divine Smite since it uses a spell slot? specifies spell – so no
— Mike Mearls (@mikemearls) February 7, 2016
@ChewBobccaThought so. So it would work with spells like Searing Smite or Branding Smite, but not the Divine Smite feature? correct

Wouldn’t it be better to have the ability score improvements fixed at certain overall levels?
when a character has multiclassed, he gets ability score improvements as per the classes dictate. Wouldn’t it be better for the story/role-playing to have the ability score improvements fixed at certain overall character levels?we really like having the class table serve as your one reference
— Mike Mearls (@mikemearls) December 4, 2017
I always thought it was also tied to class progression to reflect the attributes of the class itself. Example, the fighter is focused on mastery of body and as such gets more asi’s. Yes, it’s part of class progression, which is why it’s on class tables.

The Scarab of Protection, Hammer of Thunderbolts and Belt of Dwarvernkind
The Scarab of Protection states that it reveals ‘its magical nature’ ‘if you hold <it> in your hand for 1 round’.
Is it a case of ‘to ‘activate’ its benefits / abilities in combat, it must be held for 1 round’, or once attuned is it always ‘active’?#DnD

Hammer of thunderbolts has a special property that requires you to be wearing two other specific magic items. The text of hammer of thunderbolts doesn't say you must be attuned to them. #DnD https://t.co/LNvQD56fmz

What about the Hammer of Thunderbolts, which has a special effect for "equipping" two other attuneable magic items? Do all three need to be attuned for the Hammer's effect, or only the Hammer?
