In your personal Eberron, as you control it, can a Warforged sprout an aberrant dragonmark? If so, is it just possible in theory or has it happened? (You may have answered this elsewhere, but I couldn’t find it)(also, big fan of the plane!) Sure. Mechanically it’s possible, and in my novel The Son of Khyber there’s a warforged with an aberrant mark. But this is EXTREMELY WEIRD and rare, and people would be very surprised by it; such a character would draw a lot of attention.

Use the least obtrusive verb tense that still makes sense
#dnd tip for writers: use the least obtrusive verb tense that still makes sense. You can generally remove "will" from all your adventure design. "If the PCs charge the dragon, it flies to the ceiling and breathes fire on them."

“Yon dragon’s a vegetarian beast”
Yon dragon’s a vegetarian beast
Whose diet doesn’t let him keep human friends long
He’s talking with the latest chained slavey, a-shivering in gravy
They prepared because she got his favorites wrong
Eating her doesn’t interest him in the least— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) October 14, 2018
And then did that too-haughty queen
Spurn the pheasant, but filled her bowl with quail
And drank down the wine, deep and green
That I’d concocted from arsenic and ale— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) October 14, 2018
One potion makes you healthy
But the next one makes you crawl
And the ones the kindly priests give you
Do nothing to help at all
Yet it really doesn’t matter; one day, we’re all going to fall— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) October 15, 2018
The Artificer should be added to the Wayfinder’s Guide to Eberron
So currently there have been a few mentions about adding the artificer class to WGtE and you mentioned a “Greater Aberrant Dragonmark Feat”. My question is as it stands are people who bought WGtE going to have to buy a follow up book/PDF to get the feat? The artificer should be added to the WGtE once it's gone through development at WotC, but because it's being developed in-house I don't know the timeline on it. That's the only additional rules material that's going to be added to the WGtE.

Hi Keith, I was talking with some people on Reddit who are concerned the Wayfinder’s Guide being released as a PDF is some form of dismissal of Eberron as a setting by WotC. Anything you can say that reassures them DnD is still giving Eberron some love? I’m not part of WotC, so I don’t know their plans. But I know they are still actively developing the artificer (which I expect to see in an upcoming UA). And sales for the WGtE were phenomenal. So I don’t think it’s just going to be forgotten.

In my home D&D setting, some hags are benevolent and helpful, yet still cranky and mischievous.
One of the fun things to do as a DM is to take a monster and tweak its classic alignment/look/behavior, while staying true to the heart of its mythic archetype. #DnD https://t.co/MuQTJHwV0j

Would you say Yoda is a good example of a Hag? I mean he does live in a swamp and likes to trash adventurers equipment! pic.twitter.com/fauNWWoWcq

Yoda does wander into hag territory!

#dnd tip for DMs: first of the new year! If you want to DM, you can learn a lot by watching play streams, listening to play podcasts, playing in games in person or online, reading adventures and campaigns, and more. But at some point, before overwhelming yourself, just do it!
