I have a question regarding the wording on Ravenous Void. It says that any creature reduced to 0hp in the area is “Annihilated”. What does this mean? Is it different from Disintegrated, and how so? Disintegrated leaves behind a pile of fine dust.

I like the correct usage of language here.
Disintegration merely means something is no longer “integrated” or whole, while annihilation literally means “reduction to nothing”.
The former means taking something apart, the later means wiping it out entirely.
The coincidence of being “reduced to nothing” upon having your hitpoints reduced to nothing is also quite fun.
