‘Curse Clam’, ‘Maine Storm’, and ‘Charm of The Cods’ all sound like older edition local spells from a campaign set in The Maritimes.
Which, now I really want to play a game in such a setting. Preferably DM’d by Chris Perkins, for maximal Canada-Quotient.
You could even have customized variants of different classes – the Ranger becomes the ‘Lumberjack’, the Fighter becomes the ‘Hockey Player’, the Paladin becomes the ‘Mountie’, the Bard becomes ‘Stan Rogers’, et cetera.
