After a discussion with my DM (and player) @NoSoulNate_Ttv, I realized we had different ideas about the Kalashtar. I thought when I had read The Dreaming Dark trilogy by @HellcowKeith that they were not void of emotion, but weren’t very emotive, like a less drastic Vulcan. I general present kalashtar as “serene.” It’s not that they are in any way emotionless, it’s that they rarely SHOW strong emotion.

Would it be correct to say that it’s more that they show it DIFFERENTLY – their face may not change, but their eye glow shifts, or they emanate an emotional “hum” with their mindlink ability? I’ve always liked the idea that kalashtar nonverbal language is very extant but nonhuman Certainly!
