Is the intention for Fury of the Tides to damage just the target, or also the object/creature they impact?

Also, for Marine Layer, the creatures you choose to see through the fog: choose them when you channel divinity, or at any time? If they then move further away from you? Just the target, not what it collided with.

As for Marine Layer, it’s intended to be any creature that comes within and stays within 5 feet of you during the duration, but we’ll see how that plays out in practice. 😉
