Comment Are there any plans to bring in prestige classes officially? I was a big fan of the UA, but it appears that I may have been in the minority.

The concepts are more likely to show up as subclasses. The prestige class as a thing does not seem to fit well into 5e overall. Tested poorly. from discussion AMA: Mike Mearls, D&D Creative Director.
