There’s a problem 4e created Skill challeneges to address, and it looks a lot like a platform jumping puzzle.
“Make a shitload of rolls, taking consequences when you fail, until you have made the right number of rolls” is, unless elaborated on interestingly, a bad, lazy mechanicSkill challenges suffered mightily from the 4e dev process. No time to explore a concept, iterate, improve, keep option to cut if needed. Big lesson for 5e.
