The zombie lord Marcel from 2nd Ravenloft adventure “Night of the Walking Dead” has two abilities: one is a vile odor that affects all in 30yds with a con save against random effects, all replicated by 5e except a Weakness spell effect and a Cause Disease spell effect (Contagion is already on the list); the other is a save vs. Death-and-zombification effect. What are appropriate DCs for such effects, and how can I retool the odor?I’d go one of two paths:
