Hey Keith. Got a question for you. I know that Warforged don’t have to eat or drink, but they can if they want to. If they do, what happens to the stuff they eat or drink? How is waste handled? It's up to the DM. In MY Eberron warforged can't actually consume anything; they can drain the magic essence from consumable items like potions or Heroes' Feast, but then they have to just spit the rest out.

Do they have a sense of taste? There's no reason for them to have a sense of taste, but the rules don't say that they DON'T and it's not intended to penalize them. Personally, I like the idea that they don't, but that some artificer has designed a tongue attachment that grants it (a common magic item).

hey Keith, are manifest zones always going to be stationary parts of the land, or could it be that they are attached to an item or person? Normally, manifest zones are stationary. However, the Kar’lassa in Exploring Eberron are (epic) living creatures that radiate the effects of manifest zones. So it’s POSSIBLE.

Does Zilargo have a navy? Like, an on the ocean one. "Navy" sounds so aggressive, and Zilargo doesn't DO aggressive. They have a robust merchant marine, and those ships happen to be highly maneuverable and armed with elemental weapons. The fact that would be a match for the navies of most nations is a coincidence.

I just bought Exploring Eberron & am loving it! Just one query, the book mentions House Tharashk as the one to sell monstrous mercenaries, but wouldn’t that be House Deneith’s area? It’s an established point of conflict between the houses. Deneith traditionally brokers mercenaries, but Tharashk ties to Droaam and is brokering “monstrous services.”

Hi. Question from Eberron: Rising from the Last War, if you know. Why is goblin a language for Mark of Finding and not Orc? If the dragonmark traits replace the race traits half-orcs with the Mark don’t speak orc? Thanks!If you refer to page 6 of Rising From The Last War, Orc is largely a dead language in Khorvaire; the only Orcs likely to speak it are the Ghaash’kala. Under 3.5 rules, warforged couldn't become vampires. Under 5E rules, they are humanoids and thus technically could. Personally I would say that they CANNOT become standard vampires, for reasons too long to go into in a tweet; I'd create a unique warforged expression of vampirism.
