a *hopefully* quick question. Who actually leads the Tairnadal? Is it a theocracy?It's not a simple question; I'll consider it for an IFAQ for a proper answer. But Tairnadal society is essentially an army. Leaders of bands report to leaders of clans, leaders of clans report to war leaders, and the council of war leaders consults with the Keepers of the Past.

quick planes question – are wildfires as a renewal of the natural order Lammanian or Fernian? Both, just as you can find devils representing Tyranny in both Shavarath and Daanvi. Elementals in Lamannia represent fire-in-nature, but there are certainly spirits and elementals in Fernia that represent the role of fire as a cleansing force.

Can you explain how a skycoach works and the difference between them and the Lyrandar airships? Are they only in Sharn? Thanks, loving Eberron 5e so far! Sharn is located in a manifest Zone that enhances magic tied to flight or levitation. Skycoaches don’t use bound elementals, and their flight enchantments only function within Sharn; if you fly away from the city the coach will quickly crash.

I absolutely love the Eberron setting, but I am hoping you can clarify something for me. Does your new book “Exploring Eberron” clarify any details regarding “The Plane of Shadow”? I’m hoping to understand some differences between that and Mabar. The Plane of Shadow is primarily a 3.5 cosmology concept. It's a transitive plane, more like the ethereal and astral plane. Just like the Astral and Ethereal, it's not one of the 13 planes and doesn't have active powers, manifest zones, or the like.

Exploring Eberron doesn't mention the Plane of Shadow; it was never an important part of Eberron and it was dropped from 5E's interpretation of general cosmology, so I didn't see a reason to include it. SHADOWS come from Mabar, and that's generally what I'd use.

Btw,rumor has it it’s possible to migrate from Eberron to other worlds(like Forgotten Realms,for ex) through these planes. Is it any true? It’s up to the DM. If you’re playing with the multiverse, then yes, transitive planes could allow traffic (something called out back in 3.5). But a DM can also decide not to use other worlds in campaign.

I’m wondering how half drow would be seen in Eberron since all races and classes have a place? Will there be more sourcebooks for Eberron 5th ed? Hope so. Half-drow are most common in Stormreach, where they are accepted as part of the populace. In Khorvaire they're curiosities, as most people have never seen drow before; but there's no negative stigma attached to drow heritage.

What about amongst drow tribes? I’m also curious about any possible future books for 5th ed eberron beyond just the core book? The drow cultures of Xen'drik generally see the people of Khorvaire (largely correctly) as colonists and despoilers and avoid them. I don't think half-drow would be shunned, but they wouldn't be celebrated as half-orcs are in the Shadow Marches.

hey, is there a reason that the Sharn council was reduced to 12 members? do the councilors still directly represent their districts? IIRC Rising includes a d12 table of counselors. It’s not supposed to be all of them; it’s just that the table only includes 12.

in your opinion do Changelings revert your origin form when they “die” or go unconscious/0 hp? by RAW changelings revert when they DIE but not when they are unconscious (it would be hard to maintain a long term masquerade if you revert when you sleep!).

I bet suggested that a piece of a Changeling — such as cut hair — WILL revert, but that this is slow and may take up to 24 hours. So cutting hair isn’t a foolproof technique.

I’m playing a warforged cleric in a campaign and we acquired a belt of dwarvenkind and I really wanted to be the warforged-with-a-beard… but by RAW I think you have to be able to grow hair for it to work.
