What is the hardest thing about writing an entire campaign like CoS? And how long does that kind of thing take? It looks very difficult and very impressive!!I wrote the first draft of Curse of Strahd in 3 weeks over the Christmas break two years ago. I’ve never written anything that big that fast before, and I probably never will again. I was possessed. Usually it takes me 10-12 weeks to write a first draft.Comment from discussion Chris Perkins AMA.

Why Vampires are not immune to poison?
@JeremyECrawford In older editions, vampires were immune to poison bc they don't need to breathe. Is this not the case in 5e? #CurseofStrahd

Vampires don't need to breathe, as stated in the vampire section of the Monster Manual. They aren't immune to poison. #DnD https://t.co/mwmSHyNogK

I suggest you read Bram Stoker's Dracula (the novel) or watch the Coppola movie. Both handle the vampire's torment well. #wotcstaff https://t.co/ToQTLghnbP

Good god, Willem Dafoe was amazing in that. My second favorite vampire film after Bram Stoker's Dracula.

The Lost Boys. That's my favorite vampire film. Y'know, for the record. #WOTCstaff https://t.co/xq68h1rUXo

Fright Night.

Roddy McDowell as "Peter Vincent" is an inspiration. Solid, funny work by Chris Sarandon. The young actors were whiny as hell, though. https://t.co/7JcQpITf9P

Although that Coppola film could have handled Jonathan's torment a bit better #whoa #dude

I love Keanu, but he was whoa-fully miscast in that film. https://t.co/nZrEGVFdOM

Near Dark is definitely in my top 3

I fell in love with Kathryn Bigelow after she directed Near Dark and Point Break. Love those films! https://t.co/fZjYCj39tE

Do you have a favorite non-Barovia-based Ravenloft module?
Do you have a favorite non-Barovia-based Ravenloft module? I'm a big fan of Web of Illusion, but we went pretty off-book when we did it.

Lycanthropy affects humanoids only; vampires, being undead, are immune. 1/2 #wotcstaff https://t.co/a5Vb34xu6T
— Christopher Perkins (@ChrisPerkinsDnD) July 27, 2017
Lycanthropes retain their humanoid type. Vampirism affects humanoids, so werewolves can be made into vampires. 2/2 #wotcstaff https://t.co/a5Vb34xu6T
