Pidlwick II (a.k.a. "Murderbot") from my #DiceCameraAction game is a new fave. I'm also fond of Hug Hug from Mines of Madness. #WOTCstaff https://t.co/Vv5yZcayuq

Which usually came first? The description or the art?
@ChrisPerkinsDnD Was reading the MM with the kids and had a question. Which usually came first? The description or the art?
— Phillip Metzger (@thedevelopingdm) February 8, 2017
With few exemptions, the text was written first. That said, most MM monsters were culled from earlier editions and had art refs. #WOTCstaff https://t.co/ZIw0KL6mxQ

Tome Of Beasts, I keep coming across the language Darakhul where can I find more info about it?
@WDM1262Hey I’ve using #TomeOfBeasts in my 5e game. I keep coming across the language Darakhul where can I find more info about it? there is a Languages section in the Midgard Campaign Setting. Are you looking for game effects or vocabulary?
— Wolfgang Baur (@monkeyking) February 2, 2017
@WDM1262a little bit of both. Because I’m implementing some of the monster in TOB into my game and some battles. gotcha. Well, is is an Underworld and undead language favored by ghouls and vampires. No vocabulary list available for it yet.

Does the “Old Tower” special encounter in chapter 3 of Storm King’s Thunder…
@ChrisPerkinsDnD Does the "Old Tower" special encounter in chapter 3 of SKT make it possible for the PCs to inadvertently skip chapter 5?
— Stuart (@stuartlitjen) February 5, 2017
Yes. Characters might also go straight to chapter 5, depending on how the encounter with Moog plays out. #WOTCstaff #StormKingsThunder https://t.co/0ozjHovpSj
