Following the previous Planeshift Ixalan’s tweet: Shouldn’t the Elder Dinosaurs attacks be considered magical? Or is intended that if two of them clashes with each other none of them can damage (only Etali have lightning damage). They were based on the tarrasque, whose attacks aren't magical. Of course, the tarrasque is unique and these guys clearly coexist, so maybe they should. #dnd #wotcstaff

Crazy adventure idea
Crazy adventure idea: Start in medias res with backstory that turns out to be completely false, because the PCs' memories were modified. #dnd #WOTCstaff

Looking to start home brewing my own D&D world. Where do I start, any tips?
Start with 1 game, in one place. Don’t worry about ALL the “why’s” or all the places they might go. Let the PCs help guide its build out. Allow them to draw maps and open the doors as they find them. RECORD the sessions and make notes after to build toward consistency. HAVE FUN!

Would you recommend starting with a few key notes and then build from their. I would say do a little prep building some locations/NPCs/Encounters to have in your pocket to fill in those “doors” the players open as they progress (& for your own comfort), and plug them in when the story makes it seem natural. Then, expand forward with your post-game notes!

Can a creature with Earth Glide end its turn underground?
can a creature with Earth Glide end its turn underground? If so, could it attack, then retreat underground to avoid retaliation?Believe ability should say – could move through earth, attack, move through again and end out of earth iirc

Adam Lee: Examples of your favorite non-combat role-playing encounters 3/7
New question for DMs and players. I'm interested in hearing some examples of your favorite non-combat role-playing encounters?

Something happened in a town. The town guard came knocking at the Inn and it woke up the players. Player reactions ranged from transforming into a squirrel and fleeing to answering the door and questions politely (more to it but keeping it reasonable) Ha! 😄

Ha! Yes! A Big Bad gloat-fest is always fun to make the Players really want victory 😄👍

Can a character who dual wields daggers throw both daggers as an action?
Can a character who normally dual wields daggers throw both daggers as an action, or can they only throw one at a time? Can throw ‘em if you can make 2 attacks
