I am DMing my first game ever exactly a week from today (!!!), and randomly having a lot, and I mean A LOT of anxiety about it… 😩😨 Ftr I know all my players are amazing and will be understanding, but I just really want to do a good job. the way that you do potions in your game, is it in written form somewhere or is this something that you homebrewed? I have a party in my game coming up that may be….lacking a healer….so they may be relying heavily on potions. It’s normally an action to drink a potion, but I homebrew it as a bonus action. You can also implement the “Rapid Drinker” feat from the Tal’Dorei Guide as an option.

Ditto on a bonus action to drink a potion in my games, but I still make it an action to administer a potion to another character. Same! Trying to feed someone else always takes a little more effort…
