Last campaign you tweaked some rules (e.g., you allowed bonus actions to be cast up to 2nd level). While this campaign you’re using RAW (e.g., can only cast a cantrip if you’ve cast a BA spell). Is there a particular reason for the shift in rules for casting? That ability breaks things in favor of casters in the lower levels, so I’m including it as an optional feat at lvl 8 this go around

“I thought I was going to be a HERO, not the party scullion!”

“Looked at yourself in a mirror? When we hung the cape on ye, it looked like an awning draped over a heap of meat!”
“Listen! That’s what a cape IS. Now a lantern and a pan each, and I’ll manage the turnips, you boarbums.”#epic fantasy— Ed Greenwood (@TheEdVerse) July 10, 2018
Waterdeep Dragon Heist: this is absolutely amazing and is a sign of changes being made in the industry. #inclusion 🌈
People keep tagging me in this and frankly, I cry every single time because I feel so seen. Thank you, Jeremy. 💕😭A WONDROUS PEOPLE
Whenever you find yourself in a bustling city, you’re likely to spot a wonderful variety of folk. You hear words in languages utterly foreign to you, and you smell dishes both delectable and strange. Waterdeep is the ultimate city of such delights, and before long, the alien thing becomes familiar to you, and the stranger becomes your friend.
The people of Waterdeep are among the greatest of its splendors. Fashion, comportment, love — these things are practiced with an art and a zest in the city uncommon elsewhere. Visit a festhall or festival and see for yourself! And don’t miss the cross-dressing performers who regale audiences with humor and song. Fabulous — that word doesn’t begin to describe it, especially when they enhance the merriment with magic.
The city is also a haven for those who define for themselves what it means to be a man or a woman, those who transcend gender as the gods do, and those who redefine entirely who they are. What confidence! I never tire of witnessing it. I have seen folk in Waterdeep whose lives are more magical than the marvels possible with spells. pic.twitter.com/vDtLV8d6wg

That’s often why I point you to your D&D books
One of the best lessons I was taught as a kid was that I could hunt down information and verify it myself. That's a powerful feeling, steering your own knowledge acquisition.
I love helping others have that feeling too. That's often why I point you to your D&D books. #DnD

Along these lines, one of the best lessons I was taught as a kid was that if you unplug your cable box before the free HBO weekend ends, you get free HBO all year. Not sure that's useful with respect to D&D, but there it is. https://t.co/Y8HkpfQarO

How does Warfogerd interact with spells that deal with metal armor like shocking grasp or heat metal?
Unless @JeremyECrawfordMe and my Warforged player are loving the new UA and races. How does the “Integrated Protection” racial feat interact with spells that deal with metal armor like shocking grasp or heat metal? decides differently later, the intent is that warforged are a very mechanically strong racial option but do contain metal as part of their composition, and thus fall susceptible to Heat Metal or Shocking Grasp. Though, the DM has the final say at the table

Your DM runs the D&D game you’re playing. The rules don’t run the game.
Your DM runs the D&D game you're playing.
The rules don't run the game. My rulings don't run the game. Your DM does.
And that game is a co-op game, all about creating a mutually fun experience for the people at the table.
Work to bring smiles to one another's faces. #DnD

Also, players: Work together to bring pizza to the game table. A hungry DM is a killer DM. https://t.co/V1WXAgqsNT

No lie, I try not to eat and DM at the same time. Too distracting. Maybe I am just weird…. I feel you on that. I stuff my face while the players are doing their thing, but usually try to eat ahead of time.

Exactly. We gotta play some AD&D again. Wanna see how many times can I kill Nook. My dice are hungry.

My last 2 games have been cancelled 😢 I haven’t played in more than 3 weeks. I have felt that pain!
