@JeremyECrawford @mikemearls @ChrisPerkinsDnD My party needs a healer, but I'd rather not play a cleric. Care to give me some options?

The game features several classes that include healing options: bard, cleric, druid, paladin, and ranger. #DnD https://t.co/wxqZBtf12f

In a recent session of my D&D campaign, the ranger in the party thwarted a TPK by serving as the group's healer. #DnD https://t.co/Yd2bLVPfDe

There is also an uneathered arcana monk that heals too right? There are other healing options in Unearthed Arcana, but my answer was about things officially in the game. UA is unofficial.

may i ask which type of ranger? The ranger in our campaign is a Hunter.

The one from the official rules or one from unearthed arcana? The ranger in my home campaign is from the Player's Handbook, as are all the characters in the group.

If you need a healer but don't want to play a cleric, might I suggest giving the bard a try? Please see attached image for inspiration. pic.twitter.com/d6d6gptjyb

Are bards a more active class in 5e? When I played a 3.X bard, I was very bored saying “I keep playing the thing” every round bard in my campaign is basically a fighter who sometimes heals before smacking a foe
