@mikemearls my character is going to be going into some alchemy stuff, but he's not the kind of character where its practical as is, so I've decided he understands the principles by means of cooking (the job he had in his village) any ideas how to go about that?

I think between, but would keep an eye on possibly with our tinkerer develop a type of culinarimancy for combat prep

So here’s what I’d do – I’d adapt the downtime rules from Xanathar’s to let your character make “potions” that are actually meals or food. Simple, but should get the job done.
