I get the temptation for Dungeon Masters to make their villains flawless and all-knowing, but I promise you that the characters will find them more interesting if they:
Supervillain have observable and exploitable weaknesses
Supervillain occasionally make mistakes
Supervillain change over timebtw I meant "players" and not "characters." My designer brain defaults to the latter.
Your players might love the villain, but the characters will probably hate them (but not always).
