How do you personally get past DM burnout? Been wanting to run a new campaign but the burnout is real. #dnd @therealjimdavis @WebDMshow @PinkDiceGM @JeremyECrawford @mikemearls

One way I avoid DM burnout is to schedule my sessions only when I'm ready to run them. Unlike when I was younger, I don't commit to a weekly schedule or anything like that. We aim to play once or twice a month, and when we do play, I'm almost always jazzed to DM. #DnD https://t.co/qA4c9WatFV

Another way I avoid DM burnout is to maintain a steady diet of other games. I love playing great video games, board games, and tabletop roleplaying games by other companies. There's inspiration and fun to be discovered all around. #DnD

Do you play other TTRPGs with the aim of being a player, or a GM, or just "Wherever there's an open seat at the table"?

I enjoy playing and running other tabletop RPGs. Recently I've played them. This last Saturday, I was a player in a fun Dread game at @OrcaCon (run by @FWesSchneider). And a friend of mine has run Fear Itself for us, a horror game by @RobinDLaws. https://t.co/1M6HAL1R1k
