how do you feel about a paladin to a chaotic aligned deity?
i mean, they would still enforce the dogma of that specific god as "law", right— Alex DuFault (@ExpLimited) July 10, 2017
Chaotic good – do whatever it takes to help others
Chaotic neutral – do whatever it takes
Chaotic evil – do whatever https://t.co/VJae3nUJHM— Mike Mearls (@mikemearls) July 10, 2017
Is there a good state between C-good and C-neutral for “do whatever it takes to help myself, and others if it helps me” I see that as neutral

Isn’t the chaotic evil alignment about causing as much chaos, murder and suffering as possible? Genuinely asking, alignments are confusing.I see it more as doing whatever impulse strikes you, even if it harms others – zero empathy or compassion

Does that make Jack Bauer CG, CN or CE. He does torture people, but only very bad usually LE people? #24

I'd say that sounds neutral – it's OK to do X to a bad guy or enemy. Good sticks to its guns. https://t.co/7f67tJ9ofe

I gotta say, opening paladins to any (non lawful) alignment never sat well with me.It still feels weird to me – i honestly think it's a generational shift, younger gamers used to shades of gray in their games/stories
