Unless augmented by spells (widely known among illithids). ..and so have the Illithids. You don’t see adventurers racing towards the Waterdhavian buffet line at Selune’s Smile for a slab of Illithid tendril. Well, of course not. Wrong buffet line. You need the back room at The Adventurers' Platter for choice illithid tendrils. But I particularly recommend the intellect devourer headcheese. Piquant food for thought.#Realmslore
