@JeremyECrawford Question about the PHB Beast Master Ranger. At level 5 you can command your beast to take the attack action after which you can attack. Does this count as the attack action for the purpose of being able to bonus action attack as a two weapon fighter? Thanks!!

Commanding the beast isn’t using the Attack action.
On a personal note I’ve treated it as if it is in my own campaigns and it’s worked out well for me.

I need something other than twitter to post these questions.
Mine is a similar question. I read from the Tasha’s update that the beast can attack multiple times from being commanded as a bonus action and relinquishing one of your own attacks.
This doesn’t seem to break the action economy, since you already have these attacks available.
From the OP, it is nice to have the option to forgo an attack to leave a bonus action open though.
