Any thoughts of what they should REALLY know if roleplaying a Waterdhavian character? They should REALLY know what behavior the heads of local Watch patrols hate and watch out for. And who to cultivate at the Palace+key guilds so they can name-drop and call in favors. And where the best toilets, places to buy food that won't make you sick, and places to hide are.

These are all things you as a DM should decide, to make Waterdeep "yours" and to steer play so your players get maximum enjoyment and engagement out of it.
