I hear many org play DMs say they had real problems with the number of NPCs they had to actively run as they accompanied PCs. (Example: Out of the Abyss, Storm King) That's great feedback. Exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks!

Awesome! Thanks! I love love love the vibrant NPCs sprinkled across Tomb of Annihilation. I personally like the guides, though I have heard some DMs say even one NPC constantly with the party is tough to run for them. Glad you liked them! We had fun coming up with the guides 😄 Yeah, best case, a persistent NPC has to be easy and fun for the DM to run.
