New question for DMs and players. I'm interested in hearing some examples of your favorite non-combat role-playing encounters?

1. Needed information from a business. Some party members posed as potential clients and asked for a tour, distract them from the member doing a corporate espionage. Nice! 😃

Well -I- wasn’t in combat, but my copper dragon trapped in an elf’s body, Vorelmiirikvorel Rachdarastrix, swallowed a powerful gem to try & stop the rest of the party from killing the hags who sent them to destroy the wizard’s gem in the first place. No one saw that coming x3Wow! That was a twist! 😄

Vorel had befriend the hags, they made her a swamp sister & gave her an awesome magical lyre. She couldn't fight them, nor would she turn on her companions either, so she did what dragons do, eat gems XD my friend nearly killed another player throwing that gem before I took it

Dream council sequence with chaotic neutral woman of mysteries that leads an all-female group of drow and succubi as a chaotic good male mesmerist. What secrets can I get while trying to charm her and not die? Very tense 😬 Woah. Playing a dangerous game there 😄

Player was confronted by npc and fellow survivor of werewolf attack at gunpoint for becoming a lycanthrope (bloodhunter subclass for a home game), leading to a flashback of the night the PC lost his family. Room got pretty somber after that. Yikes! Cool 😃
