AD Kara Kenna
A tough one! a sorcerer has no real necessary “items” so it was more a presentation of their natural powers. A cosmic background hinted at the primal origins of their magic but how to keep it in line with the established presentation?

Brief suggested showing the effects on non-related items, so magical levitation and freezing etc. First sketch though felt less powerful and awe inspiring tho, and we realized the COLOUR was a big unifying factor. This was too saturated compared to the rest.Subdued colour = classic & more timeless, it was a challenge to find a balance with the more vivid colours. The elemental arms were a great idea, coming from the sleeves = their power comes from within. Less hand shapes. raised lava cobbles have become the "pedestal" pic.twitter.com/SP840cLHno

I can no longer remember what I've posted, and what hasn't been. Just a little longer then I'll flood you with Witchlight stuff. Till then here is the sketch for the Firbolg illo in Volos #dnd pic.twitter.com/Q28MX9b6Bn

Well… now this beauty is out of the bag. Some of the concept sketches for the #dnd Moonstone Dragon. And, I'm going to say it is NOT the cutest dragon in the book. You'll know it when you see it. (Irina's ( @Nord_Sol ) rendition of this is absolutely gorgeous). https://t.co/geeIbPvPEa pic.twitter.com/WfWeyuIYgs

Here's a #DungeonsandDragons Imp for my pal, @Scott_M_Fischer, who has been drawing #DnD monsters all month. We're rolling dice over the holidays, Scotty, I promise!🤓 #dndart pic.twitter.com/HJVaavh0tD

I'm posting this pen & ink sketch of a Harpy, from a few years back, for @peterdeseve because he remains an inspiration to artists everywhere. And also, he loves to draw a flesh-eating bird woman.🪶 pic.twitter.com/eEhdX2VrXs
