WWaaay to overpowered IMO – they create a one shot kill to everything. I’ve seen an assassin take out a whole troop before any of the other characters could act.
All assassin PCs have made the game unfavorable and unenjoyable for _other_ players.

1 player character as an assassin eliminated an entire troop in one turn before the rest of the party did anything? Please explain their build and any homebrew, I think you’re exaggerating or lying.

The Assassin subclass features of Assassinate and Death Strike rarely ever come into play. They are powerful when they do, but rarely ever do. It’s a high opportunity cost versus a subclass like Battlemaster that gets consistently great value at any point.
