Would Sorcerer/Monk be able to make a melee attack and quick-cast Shocking Grasp with metamagic?

I am playing a sorcerer and i am wondering; if i multiclass into monk would i be able to make a melee attack and quick-cast shcking grasp with metamagic? Yes.
