Hex only procs damage on attacks correct? So not stuff like fireball or a dragon's breath weapon which are not attacks

Hex requires you to hit with an attack. If something, like fireball, involves no attack roll and no hit, it doesn't work with hex. #DnD https://t.co/SOYCGzhAcw
