Is there a reason you don’t impose disadvantage on perception roles when the PCs are in darkness? Even with darkvision, darkness is still considered low light and I’m just curious as to the reason for homebrewing that. It’s sometimes my instead increasing the DC of the check in my head, or just forgetting. No intentional “omission” of any detriment for low light.
