Was it intentional that partial casters like Paladins contribute fewer spellcaster levels when multiclassing than they normally have while single-classed? If not, is there any chance of errata so partial casters round their levels up after diving by 2 or 3, like Artificers? The math on multiclassing spellcasters is correct in the multiclassing rules.
