If you had to redo actions and bonus actions in DND 5E, how would you do it?

For bonus actions, I’d be more prescriptive and just say what you can do in addition to the action. So, for two-weapon fighting just becomes a variant attack action with a prereq that you are wielding the right weapons.Comment
