Oooh! Good to know. Is this marriage tradition exclusive to Waterdeep, or is a similar tradition practiced throughout the Sword Coast? Marriages are similar throughout the Sword Coast (with local variations). Poor rural folk will make rings of horseshoe nails, or even plait them from vines, and give them to a smith or crafter to be halved and mated (if perishable, the smith often dips them in metal).#Realmslore
