How are Tieflings treated in Waterdeep? Do they generally hide their appearances, are they accepted. etc? Is there a current resource I can find that has specifics on the races within the city and their status? @TheEdVerse @ChrisPerkinsDnD @jamesjhaeck @matthewmercer

Waterdeep is a tolerant crossroads trading city; tieflings are accepted, though some younglings and sheltered of any race may shrink back from someone whose appearance awes or frightens them. Drow, illithids, beholders, and orcs are the always-shunned races.

Waterdavians are accustomed to seeing all sorts of folks. Tieflings are no stranger than elves and gnomes in Waterdeep. #wotcstaff https://t.co/fSl4pvNwtz

That cool, but why then did a noble have to cut their tail off? Or the family that sends tiefling children off up north and hides that fact even though the devil blood is from years ago?

Waterdavian nobles are a different breed altogether. #wotcstaff https://t.co/33NG7zdIJo
